Your role is to enhance outcomes and opportunities for students by coordinating support services and resources, ensuring their educational needs are effectively met.

Position: SEND Administrator
Contract: Part-time, permanent
Hours: 36 hours a week 8am - 4pm, 38 weeks per year (Term time plus 1 week)
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: Support Pay Scale 6 (Fringe): £31,658 - £33,952 FTE (£26,536-£28,459 Actual)

Key responsibilities include:
Create a professional relationship with parents/carers, staff and external contacts that develops trust and confidence. Be the main point of contact for the SEN team, providing helpful and accurate responses to enquiries
To chair and produce the agenda for effective department meetings. To ensure minutes are made, kept secure and shared with the SENDCo, Headteacher and other staff as appropriate.
Support the SENDCo by contributing to the SEND development plan and its implementation
Provide and manipulate data for reports, design and run reports as necessary.
Requirements include:
Essential
Ability to demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent appropriate qualification)
Ability to evidence effective continuous professional development
