We are seeking a confident and committed Head of Maths to join our close-knit school community on a maternity cover basis. The Mathematics Department comprises of six members of staff, plus a teacher degree apprentice. Pupils study the Pearson Edexcel (9 to 1) syllabus, with opportunities to take other qualifications such as AQA Further Mathematics and Functional Skills Exams to prepare for their post-16 study.
We are part of Axiom Maths Circle enabling students to work through a structured curriculum of challenging problems, exposing them to maths from outside the National Curriculum that stretches them beyond what they'd encounter at school.
